About

Two decades on the trails of Ladakh.

Based on Fort Road in the heart of Leh, we have spent more than twenty years organising trekking and mountaineering expeditions across the Ladakh Himalaya — from the green river valleys of Markha to the wind-scoured high camps of Rupshu and the frozen Zanskar gorge.

Every departure is fully supported: experienced local guides who know the passes and the monasteries, alpine tents and dining shelters, sleeping bags and insulated mats, permits and acclimatisation built into the plan. You walk; we carry the logistics.

Up here the air is thin and the silence is enormous — and a good guide is the difference between an ordeal and the trip of a lifetime.

The programme

Ways into the high mountains.

Markha Valley & classic treks

Markha, Tsomoriri, Rupshu and Lamayuru routes over the high passes, with village homestays and monastery stops.

Chadar frozen-river trek

The legendary winter walk along the iced-over Zanskar gorge, run with full cold-weather support.

Snow leopard winter expeditions

Tracking Ladakh's most elusive cat through the Hemis high country with local spotters.

Supported camping expeditions

Two-person alpine tents, dining and toilet tents, sleeping bags and mats — a full camp set up for you each night.

Jeep safaris & monastery tours

Leh, Nubra, Pangong and the great gompas — Thiksey, Hemis and Lamayuru — by road at your own pace.

Peak climbing & rafting

Trekking peaks for first-time climbers, plus rafting and biking add-ons across the Indus and beyond.

Challenging but beautiful trip. Communication beforehand was excellent and the team handled all the permits and logistics so we could just walk.
